Kanwar Dhillon who made his Television Debut in 2012 has been entertaining the audience with his perfect portrayal of a variety of roles in many serials. He is known for shows like Pandya Store, Laal Ishq. Lately, Kanwar shared his views about doing his Television journey and exploring other mediums.
Kanwar Dhillon About Films, OTT and TV Shows:
Kanwar in a recent interview with ‘Bombay Times’ said “I enjoy doing Television shows and have played a variety of roles in shows like Na Bole Tum Na Maine Kuch Kaha, Hum Hai Na and Internet Wala Love”.
When asked about exploring other platforms, he said “Yes, I want to do different things, but that doesn’t mean I will settle for small roles in OTT projects or films. I will never do those five-minute roles in films. I want to do substantial roles, which will help shape my career. Currently, I am playing a lead role. In my last show too, Pandya Store, my character Shiva was one of the main characters. Every actor is ambitious and wants to act in different mediums”.

TV Actor Kanwar About Casting Agents:
Kanwar also voiced his opinion on Casting agents. He said “One bizarre thing that I have heard from casting agents is that if a TV actor wants to do films or OTT, he should take a break from the small screen for almost a year. How will any TV actor do this? I remember giving an audition for a Web show and though the casting agent liked me, he wanted me to stay at home for a year because he felt I was over exposed as a TV actor. I don’t understand this. And if I have to run my kitchen, how can I not work and just sit at home”.
Kanwar is currently seen in new show Udne Ki Aasha where he is playing the character Sachin Deshmukh. He also did a special appearance in Baatein Kuch Ankahee Si.
