Adah Sharma has once again teamed up with ‘The Kerala Story’ makers for yet another movie based on real-life incidents. The actress is all set to play an IPS Officer Neerja Madhavan in the movie titled “Bastar: The Naxal Story”. The teaser of the film was released by the makers.

Sharing the teaser on her Instagram, Adah Sharma captioned “A story colored red with the blood of innocent people! Capture the untold story… Bastar – The Naxal Story. Teaser out now! 🔥”
It is directed by Sudipto Sen and Vipul Amrutlal Shah together. It looks like “The Kerala Story” team has decided to deliver another hard hitting and courageous story with this.

The teaser of the movie starts with a note “From the Brave Story Tellers Of The Kerala Story”. It shows Adah Sharma delivering a lengthy dialogue. It starts with Adah stating the number of Soldier’s lives lost due to war with Pakistan and comparing it to the number of lives lost due to Naxal attacks. Then, she goes on to talk about a particular incident that occured in Bastar, a district in the state of Chhattisgarh where Naxal attacked the Army and celebrations happened inside JNU.
Questioning the thought process of those who celebrate the attacks on Army and talking about the plans of Naxal, Adah Sharma continues to say that the left liberals, pseudo intellectuals are supporting them. She ends the dialogue by introducing herself as Neeraja Madhavan, an IPS at war against Naxals. Jai Hind!
The movie is produced by Aashin A. Shah under Sunshine Pictures. Apart from Adah Sharma, it has Indira Tiwari,Vijay Krishna, Raima Sen, Yashpal Sharma in important roles.

Check out the Muhurat shot video that Adah shared when the shoot started in October. The movie is expected to release on 15 March 2024.
