Speaking of Arjun’s debut film, Ishaqzaade, this action romantic drama film is written and directed by Habib Faisal and produced by Aditya Chopra under Yash Raj Films. The film revolves around his two politicians who have been in conflict and hatred for each other for generations. But when rival families Palma Chohan (Arjun) and Zoya Qureshi (actor Parineeti Chopra) fall in love, their lives change. What happens when a family finds out about a child’s affair? Their family tries to murder them, as depicted in the film. The film also sheds light on patriarchal chauvinistic parents, beliefs in a discriminatory caste system, and how this mindset can be problematic in society.
However, on the workfront Arjun is next set to star in Siddharth Anand’s action thriller “Maut”.
