In a recent Interview, Yeh Hai Mohabbatein Actor Karan Patel made a statement against Salman Khan’s Bigg Boss show and criticized the makers. For this, Karan received huge backlash from the audience and Bigg Boss viewers. Following the trolls, the actor decided to clarify his statement.
Karan Patel Clarifies On His ‘Dirty’ Remark About Bigg Boss.
In his Instagram post, Karan Patel has put an end to all the trolls against him. He wrote “To finally put an end to all the uncalled overreactions to a statement that I didn’t even make in the first place.
When asked about Biggboss, I said the show has become far more lenient over the last few years and there is no limit to how low someone can go to character assassinate someone. Salman Bhai has always requested the contestants week after week to mind their words as its a family show and sometimes the episodes get so dirty that viewing it in the company of family members becomes shamefully awkward, and that’s the context i meant ‘dirty’ in, and definitely not in any connection to the channel, the broadcaster or the host. I have immense respect for all of them. Having said that, I still stand by my words about having zero tolerance for any kind of character assasination of anyone on any show.”

Karan further added a note for the media as “Media stick to being the medium and not the source for news.”
Karan About Bigg Boss In A Interview:
Karan has been invited to the show many times but he rejected it. Earlier, in an interview with Bombay Times, Karan called the show Dirty and Disrespectful. He said that the makers are collaborating with TikTokers and Influencers in the same category as the contestants from the Television industry. He said “So where has your understanding and level of calling people or treating people like celebrities has come down to? Earlier you had only strictly actors.” He further added, the format has been diluted once the commoners began to participate along with TV celebs. Then you started combining everything together. Its become such a dirty, disrespectful show to even be associated with”.
Karan Patel appeared in Bigg Boss a few years back as a Guest. He has been part of many TV serials like Kasautii Zindagi Kay, Kasturi, Teri Meri Love Stories. He also participated in Nach Baliye and Fear Factor: Khatron Ke Khiladi.
