Seven years after the end of the first season, the second season of Pavtira Rishta is announced and will be released soon. Earlier, the makers have released the teaser which has grabbed everyone’s attention. Now, the trailer of the show is released is out. Shaheer Sheikh will be playing Manav which was played by Late Sushant Singh Rajput in the first season, Ankita Lokhande will be seen as Archana. Both the lead actors took to their Instagram handle to share the trailer with their fans.
By sharing the show’s trailer, they wrote “Pyaar aur Parivaar ke beech mein Archana aur manav kisse chunenge?. The show is all set to premiere on Zee5 starting from 15th September. The trailer shows that the story revolves around the struggle between Pyar and Parivaar. Talking about her role Manav, Shaheer Sheikh at the trailer launch said he was a bit nervous in the beginning, “But when I came on the set, it felt like the character automatically seeped into me. I didn’t have to put in any extra effort. As soon as I understood the character, I wanted to give it my hundred percent, and it happened on its own. According to me this is the most pure and earnest character that I have ever played. There is purity in his heart, which you can feel.”
Also, Shaheer spoke about stepping into the shoes of Sushant Singh and Hiten Tejwani. He added ”Of course, its a big responsibility, and whether people would accept me or not was always a question on my mind. But I have always approached a project intending to give my hundred percent to it, and after that whatever the response will be I will accept it.”

On the other hand, Ankita called the show as her ‘First born’. She said “It’s been 12 years of the show but Archana has been inside me till now. I created the character, the show and I think I was always attached to it. For me, and also its fans, Archana-Manav is an emotion”.
She also expressed her emotions when asked about how Sushant would have felt about the Pavitra Rishta 2. She said “He would have been really happy. He was a person who appreciated good work, and he has always encouraged me. I remember on the last day of Pavitra Rishta shoot, I just told him he should come on set. Even though he had quit it long back, he made an effort to come and meet the team. He loved the show, and it’s a known fact that Pavitra Rishta made both of us. If he was with us, he would have been really happy”.
However, fans of SSR say that the trailer is incomplete without Sushant Singh Rajput. Many fans took to comments section of Ankita’s post to express their views as they miss the actor badly.
