The actress is well-known for her roles in Brahma, Mass, Bhuj: The Pride of India, and Attarintiki Daredi. The 2010 Telugu version of the Kannada film Porki marked Pranathi’s debut in the Kannada film industry. She debuted in Tamil in 2011 with the movie Udhayan.
In terms of her post-motherhood comeback to the film industry, the actress has established herself in both South and Bollywood. Baava, Attarintiki Daredi, Massu Engira Masilamani, and Hungama are a few of her films. In addition to this, the actress starred in the highly regarded movie Bheema Theeradalli. Her most recent appearance was in the 2021 in Bhuj: The Pride of India.
Her Telugu debut was with the movie Em Pillo Em Pillado. After that, she acted in films like Pandavulu Pandavulu Tummeda and Rabhasa, and many more. Her upcoming projects are slated to release in 2023 that include Ramana Avatara (Kannada) which is a Romantic Comedy Drama and Ratheesh Reghunandan’s D 148 (Malayalam) which is a Crime Thriller.
